thanks for the helping me understanding this, i didnt copy you exactly i used 1 flasher and spliced off that so it powers both the turn signal and hazards. the i used 1 6 pin double pole switch instead of 2 switches so one way i get running lights and i flip the switch the other way and i get flashing power to my hazzards. now i have black out features to :)

So how does one wire in the temperature gauge into this circuit? When I did mine the temp gauge never registered and the fan never came on (180.on, 170 off). When the bypass switch is turned on the gauge pegs (full unrestricted ground)

With engine off, the battery needs to unload any extra energy back to the alternator field. Not sure about this setup, but if you had checked the battery voltage you should have seen it drop, About 13.48 time stamp. The diode is about the battery not the solenoid. I am not a expert, but pretty sure i am correct. On my 64 Galaxie the solenoid is from battery on one side,, to starter on other side. I think you have this wired up wrong. Not sure but that is how my manual shows it.

Please don't take this wrong but it all sounds like verbal Diarrhea, I know you know what you are doing but you sound like you are trying to tell everything you know in 30 seconds or less by trying to give history of everything and you jump around in topic. i.e. the black wire coming from the alternator to the fuse box, is it a ground or is a hot wire, you made and show conflicting statements. Please stick to the point as if bullet points in proper rig up sequence, then if you want to add history or things to watch out for, then do so.

This video is amazing. I've been redoing the wiring in my 1958 Austin Healey Sprite and while I've been successful (for the most part) this helped me identify a few items that I've done wrong.. That diode between the alternator and fuse panel is one. Thank you for this.

Hi there. I am italian and i don't speak english so well. It seems in the video you say that 30 goes to low speed motor but in the description it seems you write that goes to park cable. I have some questions. When you turn the wiper switch to high speed the power goes only to high speed motor cable or will i find two power, one to low speed motor and another one to high speed? (keeping so the relé on). And when you goes with switch wiper to off position relé will be off so where from came the temporary power for turning motor until it will go to parking position? Would you be able to wire the flashers/signals a bit differently? (LED btw) Power from battery/fuse to pin 30 on 4 pin relay and than pin 87 to the flasher relay. Than 2nd pin on flasher relay goes to the 4 signal lights? Just wondering if this is possible or not. My relays are in a waterproof box that is already fused so that’s why I’m wondering if i could wire it a bit differently

Isn't the flasher running non stop do to having constant power? How long will a flasher last running constantly? So as long as your key is on your flasher is getting power and flashing? So if I drive to Florida nonstop which I have done, the flasher is clicking away for 16hrs strait How can you have direct power going to the flasher, I don't see it lasting ?

What if i am trying to wire a train horn with my factory horn that is activated by the factory horn button located in the steering wheel. But i want a toggle switch to be able to use either the factory horn or train horn.

You may have a back feed problem. If the ignition is off, the hazards are on and a turn signal is on, you might have power on your ignition circuit. This would require a diode unless your LED flasher incorporates a diode. This should have been explained.

I have a 74 Datsun 260z that I am building from the ground up and have a Painless Performance 21-Circuit Universal Harness for the stuff that I am running in the car besides the engine harness. Would there be a way for you to show how to connect a basic fab wiring harness to the switch board you use in this video or a similar product?
